Twelve tables, the copper bar, the record wall and the checker floor — closed to other guests for the whole evening.
The four-course card served to the whole party — built around the shortrib braised for eight hours, with vegetarian sides on request.
Bring your own bottles; the copper bar pours soft drinks, coffee and the mint tea all evening. Corkage is a flat £7 per person.
Oud, upright bass and records from six until eleven — or quiet, if you would rather talk. Your call.
Guests from six, last orders at eleven. The room can be held later by arrangement.
